Robot Workshop was formed out of necessity. There are no shortage of IDX solutions in the world. However, by our count, before we started, there were exactly zero that offered modern interface functionality, ease of use and realistic pricing. That means that your’re probably currently being overcharged for an interface that makes you look out of touch and doesn’t do it’s job of capturing leads. We set out to change that.
Over the course of several months, our team took what we already knew about the home-search process and current internet style and designed version after version of what we considered to be, the ideal IDX search solution. Then we tested it extensively on normal, everyday people, and crunched the data. We changed the interface and functionality according to what we learned. We did this over and over and over again.
We finally launched our signature search product, IDX Robot in the spring of 2010. It’s look, feel and functionality was head and shoulders above anything else on the market, and the price was reasonable enough for any agent to stomach, even in these tough times.
But as we all know, time will always march forward. Technology will evolve, interface trends will change and thus, the Robot Workshop continues to innovate. IDX Robot will never be “finished”. We are constantly tweaking and improving the product for both our current and future clients. Technology doesn’t stand still, and neither does the Robot Workshop.
We aren’t stopping at IDX solutions either. Our goal is provide real estate agents with all the technology they will need to stand out from the pack, connect to buyers around the world, and of course, make more money. In June of 2011, we launched Neighborhood Suggester, a fully functioning lifestyle, neighborhood search tool in both Facebook and Website versions.
Robot Workshop was founded by Seth Siegler, a 9-year veteran career real estate agent and brokerage owner. We understand how you work, what you need and that you work hard for your commissions and don’t want to waste money on inferior technology.
